iPod Touches.

In 2005 the iPod Touch was invented but was not brought into stores until September 5 of 2007. In the year of 2008 there were 13 million devices were sold and in 2010 30 million sold. You can also listen to it while you are in your car. Everything on the Touches are easy access so you won’t have the hassle of finding a song or changing a song. The iPod is a helpful invention because it’s entertaining, has enough memory and battery life to sustain a long trip, and you can access the internet for information as long as you are in a Wi-Fi zone.
To begin, the iPod has applications so you can download games, movies, and books. This can be very entertaining if you are on the go. When you are on an airplane or in the back of the car you can pass some time playing your games or watching some movies. It is a great distraction to keep you busy and entertained. You can also play games with your friends whether they have an iPod or not. There are two player games and online games to play with others. You can even pull up books so if you don’t have time to go to the library or you are afraid to have your books overdue you can download a book on your iPod and read it.
Second, if the battery is fully charged on the device it will have enough memory to last a long trip of game playing and music listening. The battery can last between 20-40 hours depending on what is being used on it. People who are in school sports or go on road trips all the time would love to have one of these. They will last a good amount of time for you to play games or watch a movie while listening to music.
Third, if any information is needed quickly you may access the internet. If you are in that area your information can be pulled up quickly. Let’s say you need directions as soon as possible to a hospital, all you have to do is get on Safari. Safari will give you access to Map Quest or what ever directions tool you use. Safari is an internet program that is sort of like Internet Explorer or Fire Fox. You use it in the same ways you would any other internet program. It has a retina display so the pages amazingly with bright and bold texts and pictures.
The only downfall about the internet though is that you do need to be in a Wi-Fi accessible area. WiFi can only be found in certain places. In your home if you have a router connected to your internet or coffee shops and in some schools. Another thing about the iPod is it costs you money to get some of the apps sometimes. You can some of them for free but they are limited on levels and the time you can play them kind of like a demo. If you like the game you have to purchase it from the iTunes store.
In conclusion, iPod touches can be very helpful but maybe a little bit harmful at times too. They are fun to have when you want to listen to music or play games. They can be a major distraction though in those same ways. But in my opinion the iPod is a helpful invention because it’s entertaining, has enough memory and battery life to sustain a long trip, and you can access the internet for information as long as you are in a Wi-Fi zone.

New Blog.

I think the new blog isn't very bad. We are practicing our skills in persuasive papers and writing techniques. I am glad that we are doing blogs instead of using paper and pencil. It is more fun to type up your opinion and have others look over it and see if they agree or disagree.
